Mega Exhauster (12 PC-Fans Array)
thingiverse
This powerful vacuum system measures 48x36cm plus feet and handle, consisting of an array of four rows by three columns of 12cm PC fans (Arctic F12) expertly connected using multiple precision-engineered 3D printed components. Designed specifically for spraypainting applications, this setup effectively removes paint dust with remarkable efficiency. Feel free to replicate the design and customize it according to your preferences, deciding on the optimal number of fans to include in the array. For a stable vacuum system, consider configuring the array with three fans wide (to accommodate the feet) and two rows high. Before embarking on this project, please carefully review the instructions below and take note of these critical points: 1. Measure the total power consumption of the fans and calculate the required current before connecting them to a power source. 2. Incorporate fan grills (either purchased or self-manufactured through 3D printing): never touch the blades while they are in operation. 3. These components are specifically designed for Arctic F12 PC fans, which utilize a three-pin configuration.
