Inspired by, but not a direct copy of what's shown in, this video: https://youtu.be/YgeYScYe8wI?t=85 . I modeled the individual pawn piece, then stuck a bunch of them together. Prints best lying flat on its back (or stomach?). Then, hide the back from view as it won't look very pretty. Support is very much necessary, but infill can be mostly whatever you like (>10%).
