Meet MAT2: Sea Monkey

Sea Monkey was my submission for the Meet Mat 2 Substance Painting contest, and this little guy is definitely the bravest of its kind. As far as I know, most people are familiar with sea monkeys, but mine stands out from the crowd. The process of texturing Sea Monkey exclusively in Substance Painter was an absolute blast - it allowed me to dive deep into displacement techniques and IRAY rendering. I also relied heavily on Painter's anchor system, which made late revisions a piece of cake; now I couldn't imagine working without them. Seeing all the other entries has been amazing – there's so much incredible talent out there!
