The primary objective was to create a versatile spacesuit that doubles as an underwater submarine. The concept revolved around a skilled researcher venturing into the uncharted depths of an ocean. Initially, I considered featuring a human protagonist, but ultimately decided on a robotic character with a retro aesthetic reminiscent of vintage computer screens. The central aspect of our hero lies in its Tamagotchi-inspired interface, which adds a playful touch to the overall design. The helmet is crafted from composite fiber materials, while the suit itself consists mainly of rubber. Strategically placed accents were added to give it an Overwatch-esque flair. Throughout the project, I found the experience highly rewarding. One significant takeaway was mastering the techniques for creating elevation maps and blending textures. Although further refinement on the model's details may not be imminent, generating a new version in subsequent sessions is definitely on the agenda. P.S.: It seems our robotic friend might be craving some attention!
