Meet Mat 2 - A Tale to Illuminate the backlands

Here is my entry for the Meet Mat 2 Substance Painter contest! Sorry about resolution (Textures downsampled to 2k). I'm excited to share this creation with you! It's a story of love, told through the curves and textures of Mat. Inspired by Cordel Literature, I aimed to capture the essence of human connection in every detail. When we meet someone new, there's always more to them than meets the eye - a rich history, a tapestry of experiences that shape who they are. I wanted to convey this idea through Mat's texture, highlighting how each person carries their own story with them. Just like a tree grows and changes over time, leaving behind scars that tell its tale, we too bear the marks of our past in our present.
