Meepo V2 battery case
thingiverse
After having three Meepo V2 polycarbonate battery cases fail on me I decided to investigate and see if I could do better. It seems the Meepo battery case is too small for the provided battery. The front corners of the battery are exhibiting wear. These worn corners contact the battery case with some pressure and it is at this point where the battery case has started to failed each time. This PLA printed case seems to work well (I will update this comment if/when I get a failure). I will be avoiding skateboarding in extreme heat (40dC+) as I believe that might be pushing my luck. Procedure: + Extreme print settings - see print settings for guide. + Addition of a washer per nut to distribute pressure when fastening. + Thin cardboard layer inside battery case to reduce abrasive rubbing. + Reap charger port from broken battery case and silicon it in place on printed case.
