This is a bendable desktop light with 4 RGB LED'S with controllable color. The light looks really cool and provides decent illumination for a small area. Please note: To print the top of the light I had to manually place supports in Ultimaker Cura using the custom support add-on. This significantly helped reduce print time. If you look at it by layer view, there is a gap between the rocks and the ground in the design, perhaps this can be filled but I could not figure out how to do it in Fusion 360. If interested in the code or the schematic - leave a comment. I will try to make an Instructable for this in the future. Bill of Materials: (1) Arduino Nano (4) Flexible coolant hose like this (https://rb.gy/oqyac8) (4) Standard size pink pong balls (3) 10K Linear potentiometer (value does not matter too much) (4) RGB LED's (common Cathode) (3) PNP transistors such as 2n3905 (1) On/OFF SPST switch (1) Momentary Pushbutton Wiring and electronics: An Arduino nano runs the code for the lights. Each of the three potentiometers controls the Red/Green/Blue color channel. Since each pin of the nano delivers only about 40mA of current, I used 3 PNP transistors, one per color channel to provide enough current. I designed my own circuit for this but there are also LED drivers out there that can do the same. I soldered wired to the LED's and ran them through the flexible hose to the base. I also wired a pushbutton to turn on a strobe effect and turn it off when pressed again.
