This model's original concept comes from Dr. David Kohn, a renowned Chilean ophthalmologist, who worked closely with Dr. Cristián Muñiz, a skilled Chilean anesthesiologist. This adapter is designed to integrate a standard medical HMEF filter with a free-breath skuba mask as Personal Protective Equipment for healthcare professionals. It's completely free, open-source, and non-profit, allowing anyone to share it with the world. This design belongs to everyone, and its use, modification, or distribution is encouraged. The adapter has already been modified by others who have contributed to its development. My original design was called "adaptador mascara," but subsequent modifications were collaborative efforts with Digital Maker and CustomSurgical.
