MEDOP Threaded Respirator (EUROPA Comfort Series) to 40MM NATO (RD40x1/7") Adapter ============================================================== This innovative prototype design enables a MEDOP threaded series non-disposable respirator (EUROPA half-mask respirators) to seamlessly connect with any RD40x1/7" threaded canisters or step down adapters for other manufacturer's respirator filter cartridges. This compatibility solution is designed to facilitate the use of commercial off the shelf (COTS) filters with various manufacturers' respirators during this global PPE shortage. In particular, MEDOP threaded respirators series can now be paired with any RD40x1/7" threaded filters or adapters, offering greater flexibility and convenience. Note that MEDOP Vision full face mask series is already threaded for RD40x1/7 / EN148-1 / STANAG 4155. Use Proper Gaskets: Requires a 40 mm OD gasket or o-ring on the interior pocket for RD40x1/7 threads. 2. Perform Proper Negative Pressure Test: Follow SSPs established by your institution or workplace for further guidance. Adjust straps till taught against face, ensuring no obstructions around the periphery of the seal against face due to hair, facial hair, or otherwise. Exhale deeply, cover all inhalation ports, and inhale deeply. The mask should suck tightly against your face without any air leakages. 3.
