These parts are engineered to work seamlessly with select Nerf blaster components, transforming a basic water blaster into a fully functional, half-length dart-shooting Nerf blaster. The necessary Nerf parts for this modification are as follows: Nerf Longshot Boltsled & Metal Pin (the Boltsled must be trimmed at the bottom to function properly) Nerf Longshot Plunger Tube Nerf Longshot Plunger Rod Nerf Longshot Catch Plate Nerf Longshot Catch Spring Nerf Internal Barrel (available in many blasters) Nerf Raider Breech Acceptor A few of the parts have been designed with 4-40 screws in mind, while others are optimized for discarded Nerf size screws. In addition, a single extension spring is required for the Magazine/Clip Release, and an upgraded torsion spring is recommended for the Raider breech acceptor. Currently, the mag well is designed to accommodate both Katana and Talon mags, but the mag release is only set up to work with Katana mags. As soon as some Talon mags are acquired, the design will be updated to ensure full compatibility with them.
