Medium size chess set with MMU board, container base, and twist-lock pieces

Compared to the Travel Size chess set, these pieces are better suited for larger hands.  The pieces can be set loosely on the pegs.  With a 35-degree clockwise twist the pieces are snugged down to the board. These larger parts have a greater tolerance for size variation of the printed part sizes.The lockdown feature is something you cannot buy in a mass-produced injection molded set.  It enables passing the board around in a moving vehicle, easily moving from room-to-room, or preserving games in mid-play.  This set combined with an introductory book on chess makes a truly excellent present.  I recommend the book Chess For Juniors by R.M. Snyder.The board requires an MMU filament changer.  If you do not have one, but a friend does, offer to print a container base for a swap.Printing timesboard - 5 hr 46 mincontainer base - 13 hr 41 minpieces - 4 hr 7 min X 2I suggest printing the boardSample piece with a rook and a pawn to test the fit for your printer and materials.  My only experience has been with PETG with 0.2 layer height and Quality settings.  The default filling of 15% works well.  I suggest printing the container base at 5% filling to save material and time.The chess pieces are scaled and modified from a Staunton set on Thingiverse  and the creator, PerryT, is to be commended for his elegant design and its suitability for 3D printing.  The nice Travel Chess set by WhatWouldAnEngineerDo inspired my efforts.
