Medium Pet Door Wall Frame

Our kitten has reached the age of one and is no longer a kitten. I originally designed the [Small Pet Door Wall Frame](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1729360) so our cat could move freely between the house and the garage, where his litter box is located. Now he's too big for that little door, so I redesigned the frame to fit the medium Ideal Pets pet door with a 7" x 11.5" opening. The Ideal Pet Door is a high-quality product featuring a vinyl flap and lock-out slide, available from many retailers at around $22. Out of the box, this door telescopes to 2" and is designed for installation in a standard door frame. This 3D printed frame extends the installation range to about 6" to 7", allowing it to be installed directly into a wall. The frame prints in two separate parts to accommodate smaller print beds, specifically those with a 200 x 200 mm area. Although one of the dimensions measures 204 mm, most 200 mm print beds are slightly wider (mine is 214 mm), so you may need to adjust your print bed size to > 205 mm before printing the frame. I printed the frame using 0.3 mm layers and 30% infill for added strength. This design also features six additional braces that enhance the overall structural integrity of the frame. The mounting screws apply tension along its weak axis, potentially causing it to split over time. In this redesign, however, the tension is transferred to the printed braces, which are designed to withstand the stress along their strong axis.
