Medium duty battery posts / terminals
thingiverse
I designed this medium-duty battery post/terminal because "proper" automotive terminals cost too much and didn't provide enough power. The small bench supply terminals were also insufficient, so I created these terminals myself. The "post" is a 3/16 inch threaded rod with a 3/8" hole in the metal. I had some special threaded rods on hand that featured a 1/4" nut built into the middle of each one. To secure them to the post, I glued a 5/16" nut into the caps, which should help minimize moisture exposure. After relocating our RV battery to the inside of the tent trailer (where the water tank used to be), we still needed a way to connect solar panels, accessories, chargers, and other equipment to the battery. The wires on the hitch were loose and a bit concerning, so I printed these terminals in red and black and installed them on our hitch.
