<p>This was an exercise to make something that was beautiful yet would be hard if not impossible to manufacture any other way than on a 3D printer. It was done in Fusion 360, which is not really in any way ideal for this sort of organic modelling, but it is the tool I have, and just added to the challenge.<br>It's an easy print, without supports. The lid has been designed to be a perfect snap fit, if you print at fixed 0.2mm layer height. If you print at a different height, it might still work, but probably not. (Likewise if you scale the box, the lid clearance might change and it could be a bit loose or a bit tight.)</p>
