Medieval Winged Spear Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
Game/VR/AR ready low-poly model of a Medieval Winged Spear with 2K PBR-textures built to real-world scale (metric system). The medieval spear was one of the most formidable weapons of the age. Despite the prominence of swords in film and litterature, the spear was the primary infantery weapon in most medieval armies. Having long reach and requireing a small amount of steel made it both a powerful and economical weapon. The Winged Spear is 1.8 meters long and the 41 cm long head can be used for both cutting and stabbing. The two wings prevent opposing weapons from sliding down along the shaft, but can also be used to hook enemy weapons and shields. The model and PBR-textures are prepared for use with Unity 5 and Unreal Engine 4, but can easily be adapted to other game engines, or to other uses. The model was created using Blender and Substance Painter. Preview images were rendered with Iray. Polygon Count 1535 vertices 1184 faces 2220 triangles File Formats Autodesk FBX (.fbx)* OBJ (.obj) Collada (.dae) 3D Studio (.3ds) Blender (.blend) * There are three different FBX-files, one standard PBR MetalRough, one for Unity and one for Unreal (the last two have triangulated faces). Materials & Textures The model is UV-mapped and has three different materials. Each material has three sets of physics based textures, one for PBR MetalRough, one for Unity 5 (metallic workflow) and one for Unreal Engine 4. The textures are not baked into the model, but are saved as png-files with a resolution of 2048 x 2048 pixels (8 bits) in the zip-file PBR textures and the subfolders PBR textures, Unity 5 textures and Unreal Engine 4 textures: PBR textures: Winged spear_Blade_AO.png Winged spear_Blade_BaseColor.png Winged spear_Blade_Height.png Winged spear_Blade_Metallic.png Winged spear_Blade_Normal.png Winged spear_Shoe_Roughness.png Winged spear_Shoe_AO.png Winged spear_Shoe_BaseColor.png Winged spear_Shoe_Height.png Winged spear_hoe_Metallic.png Winged spear_Shoe_Normal.png Winged spear_Shoe_Roughness.png Winged spear_Wood_Roughness.png Winged spear_Wood_AO.png Winged spear_Wood_BaseColor.png Winged spear_Wood_Height.png Winged spear_Wood_Metallic.png Winged spear_Wood_Normal.png Winged spear_Wood_Roughness.png Unity 5 textures: Winged spear_Blade_AlbedoTransparency.png Winged spear_Blade_AO.png Winged spear_Blade_MetallicSmoothness.png Winged spear_BladeBlade_Normal.png Winged spear_Shoe_AlbedoTransparency.png Winged spear_Shoe_AO.png Winged spear_Shoe_MetallicSmoothness.png Winged spear_ShoeBlade_Normal.png Winged spear_Wood_AlbedoTransparency.png Winged spear_Wood_AO.png Winged spear_Wood_MetallicSmoothness.png Winged spear_WoodBlade_Normal.png Unreal Engine 4 textures: Winged spear_Blade_BaseColor.png Winged spear_Blade_Normal.png Winged spear_Blade_OcclusionRoughnessMetallic.png Winged spear_Shoe_BaseColor.png Winged spear_Shoe_Normal.png Winged spear_Shoe_OcclusionRoughnessMetallic.png Winged spear_Wood_BaseColor.png Winged spear_Wood_Normal.png Winged spear_Wood_OcclusionRoughnessMetallic.png
