Medieval Stone Dice Tower - Modular

These models were crafted thanks to the kind backing of my patrons on Patreon. You can join in the fun at https://www.patreon.com/sablebadger for early access, free models, and support a rapidly expanding collection of tabletop models. Higher tiers also get to participate in polls and suggest future projects. This model is a reworked version of a piece of terrain I created earlier for a tower, turning it into a charming dice tower. The tower is modular so you can print it one section at a time, and breaks down easily for storage or transport. No supports are needed for this print, and painting produces great results with minimal effort. You'll need two shades of grey and a cheap sponge (an open-cell kitchen sponge works fine if it's clean). Steps: 1. Prime in a grey color. 2. Sponge on a dark grey color using cheap craft paints in a fairly heavy coat. Don't worry about being perfect, and total coverage isn't required. 3. After the coat is dry, sponge on a lighter grey with less coverage. Focus on the tops and edges where light will hit, leaving some of the previous coat showing through. 4. Add a final accent with a lighter grey if you want (I usually stop at step three for bulk painting). Use small dabs on high spots and tops. You can also dab brown or green around the base lightly to add extra flavor.
