Circular metal piece with Calatrava cross from the site of Calatrava la Vieja in Carrión de Calatrava, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, originating from the Middle Ages. Now housed in the Ciudad Real Museum's collection, it bears the catalog number DO000152. Captured in high detail through Reality Capture technology using 486 images. A relic of the Christian period, dating back to the 13th century. This artifact is documented by Retuerce and Hervás in their 2017 publication "Calatrava la Vieja," a guide to the cultural heritage of Ciudad Real Province on page 10. This project was made possible through a collaboration agreement signed between Global Digital Heritage and the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha in 2020, aimed at digitizing the region's cultural heritage. We extend our gratitude to the Museum of Ciudad Real, particularly its director José Ignacio de la Torre, for their invaluable contribution to this initiative.
