Medieval Long-Sword (in Parts)
thingiverse
After assembling my Vikingsword in sections, I decided to recreate my original medieval sword with a twist. This time, I designed it with interchangeable components for ultimate versatility. I created two blades - one with the last third of its length sharpened for precision cuts, and another identical blade for practice or display purposes. Additionally, I crafted four pommels to suit different preferences and styles. The crossguards were also made in duplicate, allowing me to experiment with various designs without sacrificing the sword's overall integrity. A single handle was designed to accommodate both blades seamlessly. Each component is precisely scaled at 1:1, ensuring an authentic medieval experience. The blade itself measures a remarkable 1200 mm in length, making it a true showstopper.
