Medieval Lime Kiln & Roman Wall Lebanon, Kesrouan District, Qornet ed Deir. May/03/2019. This medieval lime kiln and a nearby fragment of ancient Roman wall stand out as one of five cultural heritage sites identified within the Jabal Moussa Reserve and surrounding area, documented by the Tahoun Project's 2019 field season team. High-resolution photogrammetry was conducted in a rapid documentation process, moving between structures at 1-3 day intervals. Wherever feasible, structures were modeled both inside and out to gain a detailed understanding of their functionality. These models were geo-referenced using handheld GPS devices taking multiple samples over consecutive days. Project: Jabal Moussa/Tahoun Project With funding thanks to: Swedish Institute Creative Force, EAMENA, G.A. Wainwright Fund, Society for Post-Medieval Archaeology
