Hello! These "high" poly models have been created specifically for individuals who are learning or want to start learning 3D modeling and create their own miniatures. It's a placeholder or basic tool that I provide to get started, allowing you to tweak poses, facial expressions, and other simple details as you continue learning from online tutorials. They've been designed with heroic proportions in mind: thick hands and feet, larger heads, and medium-volume muscle mass (making it easy to add or remove volume to create a skinnier character). The MALE human model stands at 6 heads tall. The head itself is 5mm high, while the entire figure measures 30mm tall (28mm to eyes). For reference, each square of the GRID represents 1x1mm. I've included a 30x30mm grid and three images explaining basic concepts related to importing-exporting files in zBrush. A similar process applies to other modeling software, but I only use zBrush. Workflow: If you're already familiar with using zBrush, here's what you need to do next: Duplicate the subtool (the body in this case) and select one of the duplicates while hiding the original. Use Zremesh to achieve approximately 3-5k polys every time. Then, subdivide about four times. Next, activate the hidden original model while still having selected the remeshed and subdivided model. Select PROJECT. The details from the original model will project onto the remeshed and subdivided model's polys, resulting in a model with multiple levels of detail, ranging from 5k to approximately 1 million polys. Now you can pose the low-poly model and apply Dynamesh for sculpting! After finishing sculpting, decimate the model (average foot miniature: 100K polys). Here's an example of how to pose a low-poly model: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6THhnv0m6g See you around! Erramir Orlans.
