Medieval Dagger from 13th Century Switzerland Digitally Restored The blade and guard of this ancient knife were uncovered during archaeological excavations at the ruins of a small castle called Scheidegg, which dates back to around 1220 AD. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by fire in 1320 AD. The coordinates for this site are 7.877898°E and 47.447649°N. The restored dagger measures 33.1cm in length, while the excavated blade alone is 32.1cm long.
