A small ceramic jug with intricate sgraffito painted designs has been uncovered at the ancient site of Calatrava la Vieja in Carrión de Calatrava, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Dating back to the Middle Ages and featuring Islamic influences from the Almohad period (1195-1212), this remarkable artifact is now part of the esteemed collection at the Ciudad Real Museum. The discovery of this ceramic jug is attributed to the Alarcos‘95 excavation project, specifically mentioned in "El fiel de la balanza" (1995:256).
