A small phalanx bone of a bovine, unearthed by archaeologists in Gouda, has been discovered. These bones were used to play a medieval game. This particular bone is noteworthy: the coat of arms of the city of Gouda has been carved onto it. It's possible that this was done to distinguish it from other bones used by players in the game.
