Medicine Rack (Slide or Hard Mount)
thingiverse
This is a Medicine rack I designed that will help keep your prescription medicine bottles better organized and likely take up less space because they are stacked vertically! It is designed to fit in any location with ease. It can be mounted parallel or perpendicularly in your location. It can either be screwed directly to the shelf or made so it can slide out some if mounting perpendicular. There are 5 files, and it will require some glueing for which standard CA or Super Glue works Great.Steps for assemblyPrint the bottom. Once printed the sides of the bottom need to be glued so the flush side is on the outside. This print also includes the center slide part that is mounted inside the slot and then screwed to the shelf, otherwise you just screw the bottom to the shelf using the predrilled holes.Print the Ends file (I used no Skirts or rafts due to size)Print the 2 Front Files (I used no Skirts or rafts due to size)Print the supports file (these were created so it is less likely to slide the bottles in crooked) These are clearly labelled with an S or an L so you can glue them into the correct sized hole in the fronts using the tabs for a guide.Glue the Front, Ends and supports together with Super Glue/CAMount the assembled bottom to the shelf.Mount the assembled Rack portion into the bottom, it should be a tight fit.Depending on the screws used you may need to adjust pre-made hole sizesI recommend test fitting everything because depending on the printer used and how it is setup the printout fitment may vary. You can use any filament but I used PLA and used 100% infill for strength. The base could likely use 60-70% infill and still be fine.
