Medicine Bottle to Native Seed Shaker (Cap)

For reversible medicine bottle lids: punch some holes in the original lid, fill the container with seeds, and you have a seed shaker. This lid screws onto *that* lid (the small / convex / non-child-safe side), so the whole thing can be tossed in a pocket or bag without the seeds spilling out. There's a small mark that shows where it should align with the top of the threads on the cap, to screw it on. You could put a Sharpie mark here as well. Look up your local ecosystem, get some NATIVE seeds, and start shakin'! Avoid areas that are already being cared for. I've been using this design with tiny California Poppy seeds, and it works great – no spills! Pictured with some beautiful California sagebrush and coyote brush (that I didn't plant).
