# Medical Face Shield Improved Version This version of the medical face shield is compatible with the transparent parts of the previous version. Major modifications were made to accommodate users with lower head circumferences, allowing them to tighten the frame using a rubber band. 1. The design was reworked for users with smaller head sizes, enabling them to secure the frame in place. 2. Two additional mounting points (six in total) were added to ensure proper alignment of the full-face shield with the user's face. 3. The shape of the frame was adjusted to prevent the full-face shield from touching the nose. The new template for the full face shield is available for download and can be used personally. # Be Water, Be Creative We stand in solidarity with medical professionals and Hong Kong citizens during this challenging time. Hong Kong is facing a severe outbreak of Wuhan Corona-virus, but the government has failed to take necessary measures. Neighbor countries have closed their borders and encouraged citizens to wear face masks. In contrast, the HKSAR government has refused to limit tourist arrivals from mainland China, where the virus is rampant. They even announced that wearing face masks is not necessary. The government's inability to provide adequate protective gear for medical professionals has left them in a precarious situation. To address this issue, our team at Lady Liberty Hong Kong spent several days designing and creating 3D-printed eye-shields and full-face shields for doctors and nurses. These open-source designs have the same form factor as existing shields and can be easily exchanged. We also uploaded the schematic of transparent parts (PDF and DXF format) so that the general public can fabricate their own transparent components using transparent film (0.1mm~0.2mm thick). Schematics for both eye-shield and full-face shield versions are available. Our team at Lady Liberty Hong Kong consists of professionals from various fields, including artists, computer-aided design experts, 3D printing specialists, and sculptors. We have also received support from volunteers from other fields who are helping us with driving, publishing, and public relations.
