Welcome to the scientific project of LEGOLACTICS Team from Catalonia, Spain, participating in the First Lego League "City Shape" challenge. In our scientific project, we aim to enhance the medical emergency system (SEM). Currently, when an emergency occurs, a witness must contact the SEM to report the issue. The SEM will ask for information about the person's health status, but the information provided is often incomplete and communication can take several minutes, which may be critical. If necessary, medical personnel will be transported to the scene by ambulance or helicopter, which could face traffic or accessibility issues, as well as contamination risks. To address these challenges, we have designed a system that enables anyone who wants it to implant a microchip. This microchip would continuously monitor the person's health status and, in case of detecting any problems, send a message to their cellphone and/or smart bracelet. If the individual is unable to resolve the issue on their own, the microchip will notify the SEM with accurate identification, location, and health information. The SEM will then dispatch medical personnel in an autonomous air vehicle (AAV) that we have designed. We believe this system would significantly improve the current SEM.
