This is a custom Raspberry Pi 2/3 Case with an angular aesthetic inspired by many currently popular game consoles. It's the third and most usable revision of the case, designed to be fit for public use. The previous two designs were fragile and lacked a Micro SD Card slot. The case features simple cooling, with one strong blower type fan providing intake air and pushing it right over a large heatsink straight out the back of the case. This design is heavily influenced by laptops and recent game consoles like the Playstation 4. It has kept my Raspberry Pi 3 running at 1.4ghz while staying at approximately 50 degrees celsius for extended gaming sessions in Retropie. Other stability and temperature testing was done in Raspbian Pixel using benchmark tools like Sysbench and Shell Scripts to provide constant temperature readouts while pushing all CPU cores to 100% usage. If you own a Pi 3 that can do 1.5ghz, this design could easily keep it cool as the Pi 3's tend to throttle around 82-85c. Full worklog can be found here:http://imgur.com/a/vr6Do Please note: The mes_30.stl and mes_30_lid_closed.stl files are full models using stand in parts such as the Pi 3, ATXRaspi, and the 5v 50mm blower fan to provide you a general idea on how the device is built. They ARE NOT intended to be printed, only edited. The mes30.stl file has the lid raised above the object to allow you to peer inside using the limited 3D view on Thingiverse. The lid is intended to slide into the case from the back and sit flush with the top as viewable in the mes_30_lid_closed.stl file. These files also have a modified fan duct design for aesthetic reasons. The correct design for the fan duct is included in the other files. If you are planning on making your own version, please get the 5v, 50mm blower fan first. This fan is necessary to keep the device cool and it's not easily substituted. To assemble the case, you'll need: * Raspberry Pi 2 or 3 * ATXRaspi Smart Power Controller * Titan 50mm USB/5v Blower Fan * 22mm x 22mm x 25mm Heatsink * 22mm Vandal Resistant Lighted Switch * 0.1" Female Jumper wires * Panel Mount Ethernet Extension Cable * Panel Mount Micro USB Extension Cable * GPIO Ribbon Cable * Right Angle Panel Mount USB extension cables * M2.5 sized screws * Heatshrink of varying sizes * Some decent Super Glue for the Feet Optional Fan Filterhttp://www.performance-pcs.com/video-card-coolers/demciflex-magnetic-fan-dust-filter-custom-graphics-card-filter.html
