This is a laser cut medallion that I designed. It's meant for a go-cart race in our neighborhood where each kid gets a medal. The medallion is crafted from 3mm plywood (poplar) using the lasercutter at work. As a STEM teacher at VTI Tielt in Belgium, we're lucky to have access to a powerful 100W CO2 laser cutter. To get the best results, I adjusted the settings as follows: cutting all the way through at 30mm/s and 70-80% power, engraving at 30mm/s and 15% power. Scanning wasn't an option since it would've taken too long (5 minutes). Now, the production time is just 1 minute per piece. Feel free to modify this design to suit your needs. Enjoy! - Frederik
