MeCreator 2 Bottom Plate
thingiverse
This is a custom bottom plate designed specifically for Geeetech MeCreator 2 printers. Since I was frustrated with the noisy fan at the bottom of my printer, I created this bottom plate to accommodate any fans. With this design, my printer is now incredibly quiet. Obviously, this design cannot be printed using a 3D printer. Instead, you will need to use a drill, a typical saw, jigsaw, or laser cutter to cut a wooden board to the required specifications. Based on my testing, I found that a 4mm MDF board is strong enough to support an 80mm fan. Keep in mind that you may need longer M3 screws and high feet for your printer. I did not create the 2D blueprints, so there might be some issues with the PDF file. If you find any mistakes, please let me know in the comments section.
