Mechanum Wheel - 150mm

This is a work in progress and has yet to be thoroughly tested. The Mechanum Omni Directional wheel is designed for seamless movement in every direction, forward, reverse, and side to side. With a 150mm diameter and a 100-tooth GT2 pulley compatible with a 6mm belt, this wheel offers impressive capabilities. The wheel's width, without the pulley, measures 48mm. The wheel features 15 rollers, each 42mm long and 19mm in diameter. Each roller utilizes two 105zz 5x10x4 bearings for optimal performance. The main wheel axle is supported by two 688Z 8x16x5 bearings, designed to accommodate an 8mm axle. To assemble the Mechanum Omni Directional wheel, you will need: * 2 x 688Z 8x16x5 bearings * 30 x 105zz 5x10x4 bearings * 30 x Mini Shims (5mm ID, 8mm OD, 1mm thick) * 15 x M5 Low Profile Screws - 65mm long * 6 x M5 Low Profile Screws - 50mm long * 21 x M5 Nylock Nuts All required hardware is available at Makerparts.ca or openbuildspartstore.com.
