Mechanical zero setters

Mechanical Zero Setters are used to precisely locate the position of workpiece surfaces or tool lengths in the Z-axis at milling machines and turning lathes. To set zero, place the setter on the workpiece and carefully move the spindle onto the tracer until the dial gauge indicates exactly 0. This ensures that the reference dimension of 50 mm from the workpiece is accurately reached. Additionally, a safety spring range of 0.5 mm is built-in for extra security.
