This is a versatile z-max endstop holder for standard endstops on a 1.2 board. It can be seamlessly integrated into the lower front bracket of the dual z axis, using superglue or acetone if printed in ABS. The second part serves as an extension that attaches to the unused belt clip on the left side of the front z carriage, applying pressure to the endstop. This design arose from the realization that ABL (Automatic Bed Leveling) seems unnecessary with this printer's setup, especially considering the bed can be easily manually levelled and remains remarkably consistent. If switching to a z-max endstop and using Marlin 1.1.0 RC, modify configuration.h to set homing direction to z = 1 (max). Next, enter your full z height in manual home positions z; mine is set at 170mm. Following that, use babystep z on the first print and input the home offset with m206, keeping in mind that if the nozzle is 1mm too high, the m206 z value should be adjusted accordingly.
