This holder is designed to slowly rotate a watch held within it to wind a mechanical watch, but it is designed in such a way that it can easily be expanded to hold multiple watches run off of the same motor (beware, as these are herringbone gears adjacent gears need to be altering in direction, but this is also included in the step-file).

The winder is designed to be assembled with superglue where needed, but most parts if printed properly will be a nice snug fit (tested).

A link to the motor used is following, I used the 56 RPM variant, purely because I had it on hand.

banggood.com/N20-DC-Gear-Motor-Miniature-High-Torque-Electric-Gear-Boxes-Motor-With-Permanent-Magnets-p-924377.html

The only thing I couldn't properly test was the compliant mechanism for holding the watch, as my printer decided to limit itself to be only 10 mm in z-axis and grind after that. From the test I could make I found that it might not be ideal for chainlink watchbands, but that is with the old spring design, so I will update when I get it properly printed.

I printed mine in PETG as that is what I have on hand, and can only see a potential problem with the compliant mechanism for PLA.

Assembly instructions:

Picture 4 contains the order of assembly. It is recommended that the driving gear is added lastly and then the motor is seatd to lock it in place.
