This ventilator relies on an electric motor to power its mechanical operation, rotating a shaft that drives the central gear. In turn, the gears propel a link that compresses air bags, providing the necessary pressure for respiration. Two distinct air bags are employed: one for inhalation and another for exhalation, each controlled by a precision valve that regulates airflow. To safeguard patient health, the vents incorporate a bacterial filter, preventing contaminated air from entering the respiratory system while also containing any airborne pathogens that may be present.
