Mechanical Tommy Gun Prop

Inspired by the iconic weaponry in the godfather, I modeled and printed one of the prop Tommy guns based on set and movie images. there are three interactable aspects of the design. the trigger sits on a pivot and is tensioned by a rubber band allowing for a movable realistic trigger mechanism. the reload bolt is movable and can be snapped back through a rail and anchor system. The drum magazine is removable and can be clicked in to allow for fast movement with the prop. *Note: below is a link to a video that showcases the painting and operation of the mechanical pieces. sadly the assembly footage was corrupted.
