Mechanical stop for 16mm IGUS Drylin W rails

In a previous project, I successfully enlarged the 8mm ID hole to 9mm using careful drilling techniques, and later tapped it to M10 with precision tapping. My goal is to replicate this solution in a more efficient manner, minimizing tool usage and time consumption. The part hole has a conical shape, which will accommodate an M4 screw. To secure the part firmly in place, I recommend tapping the inner hole with an M4 tap, followed by inserting a 25mm M4 screw. It is crucial to tap the part outside of the rail before assembly. This approach ensures that the topmost area remains untouched, maximizing grip once the screw is securely in place. The printed parts, made from ABS material, demonstrate remarkable resilience and can withstand significant abuse.
