MECHANICAL ROTATION PUZZLE
thingiverse
I give you my rotating hidden compartment puzzle! Inside are six springs, a bearing and a steel ball bearing that work together in perfect harmony. The springs and bearings at the top allow the handle to spin freely, making it easy to pull up and confuse anyone who tries to figure out what's happening inside. The neodymium magnet holds the steel ball bearing firmly in place at the bottom until you pull up the handle and give the puzzle a good shake to release the BB. You can then twist the handle until the BB drops into its designated slot, where it will engage with the key and lock the handle in place, allowing you to unscrew it easily. I added a sliding hidden compartment that can only be opened by using the rotating handle to gain access. You can put a small treasure or note inside as a challenge for anyone who can figure out how to open it. It's a great way to test your friends' problem-solving skills! Here is a list of the hardware you'll need to build this amazing puzzle: 24 x M2 x 8mm hex bolts that will provide the necessary support and stability 1 x M6 x 60mm bolt that will serve as the main anchor point 1 x 8mm x 22mm x 7mm bearing that will help the handle spin smoothly 4 x 5 x 15mm springs that will add a touch of excitement to the puzzle 2 x (4.2 internal) x 38mm springs that will provide an extra layer of challenge 1 x 6mm steel ball bearing that will be released when you solve the puzzle 1 x 5 x 3mm neodymium magnet that will hold everything in place until you're ready to release the BB
