Mechanical Ring 2

Hello, My name is Roham Moradifard. I'm a student at Arak University in Iran, majoring in mechanical engineering and constantly seeking projects that reflect my future career path. Initially, I aimed to redesign everyday objects like coins or dice, but the movie "Hunter-Killer" inspired me to create something more substantial - a coin. However, I wanted to avoid repetition, so I opted for designing a ring instead. Upon researching on YouTube, I discovered videos featuring rings with integrated lights and electronic components, including diodes. One video showcased a creator using a lathe tool to craft his design, prompting me to choose stainless steel as the material and incorporate small screws and gears into the design for added functionality. To protect these mechanical elements, I used resin. After coming across this challenge on GrabCad, I decided to revisit my design with 3D printing in mind, removing unnecessary threads from the screws to prepare it for FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) method.
