I didn't actually write this tutorial myself. It's a modified version I created using the tutorial as a guide. To be honest, I was surprised by how intricate pencils are once they're taken apart - did you know that the eraser can come in and out of place? Not to mention the graphite lead too. One thing I think is really cool about these disassembled pencil parts is when you remove the outer casing and you get a glimpse into its internal workings. I'm excited to see what kind of fascination people will have with it, so go ahead, take a closer look.
