Mechanical Paradox
thingiverse
I designed this Mechanical paradox on Orchard, inspired by the uphill roller that defies gravity. This device could help illustrate concepts in classrooms, including gravity, center of mass, momentum, and friction. To design it, I sketched a 2D profile for the notch using Orchard's interface. Then, I pulled the sketch into a 3D object to create a block, cut the block out, and voila! A model was born.
