Mechanical Paper Towel Holder

This is a constant WIP. I'm using this version for now, but improvements can be made. I made this paper towel stand with an arm which provides tension against the roll, so it won't unwind with wind when using it outside the house while barbecuing, camping, etc. The arm is assembled using a snap-fit mechanism. You can use washers between the arm and the base to improve the sliding characteristics and to reduce the gap. The rod is a broomstick painted white. I could've cut it a little shorter. “PortaPapel_Connector” and “PortaPapel_Base” are attached to the broomstick using screws, but you can use glue on the “PortaPapel_Connector”. DO NOT use glue to attach the base to the broomstick. You have to separate them if you need to disassemble the arm, or if you need to replace the rubber band used to provide tension to the arm.
