A mechanical NOT gate employs input and output rods; however, chaining these rods may necessitate increased force for circuit operation. This design could be termed as a clocked gate that operates upon pushing the plunger at the base, presumably by a cam. For sequential gates, a second cam with delayed timing would be necessary. The concept is newly conceived and requires further development; a modular system may be considered.
