Mechanical Keypad

This custom keypad was designed specifically to house an Arduino Micro, eight mechanical keyboard switches, and a rotary encoder. Two 6.3 mm headphone jacks located at the back can be utilized to attach footswitches or expression/volume pedals. At the bottom of the keypad, there are recessed areas for five rubber feet (diameter: 8 mm). The included keycaps fit standard MX mechanical switches, and the rotary encoder used has a diameter of six millimeters. Additional support was created to hold the Arduino in place if the latches on the bottom part prove too unstable and break off. Example code is available for the Arduino at https://github.com/mmohn/ArduinoKeypad
