My intention in designing this gyroscope is to spark innovation. As a student of mechanical engineering, I plan to pursue a career as a mechanical design engineer. This creation incorporates four components used in mechanical assemblies: Gyroscopic Motion, Gear, Roller Bearing, and Bolt. I chose these specific components because they are versatile tools that achieve a variety of purposes. Gyroscopic motion is a key feature in navigational equipment, gears are essential for power transmission and speed adjustment, roller bearings reduce friction in rotational motion, and bolts secure everything in place with stability. Together, these components embody the features of many mechanical designs. The gyroscope has three main parts: an outer gear, a roller bearing, and an inner ring. It has a full range of motion, with all three rings spinning and rotating independently of each other. The roller bearing within the middle ring adds to its mobility. Dimensions: - Overall diameter: 94.0 mm - Thickness: 18.4 mm This model was designed using Fusion 360.
