Mechanical Gripper May 2019

myminifactory

Human: A prototype mechanical gripper designed to illustrate one effective method of creating a robotic gripper. By equipping each claw with two connectors, they always close parallel to each other, ensuring precise control and accuracy. With a built-in handle and trigger, users can operate the mechanism without relying on electronics, making it an ideal educational model for easy assembly. Glue Mechanical_Gripper_Frame_1.STL, Mechanical_Gripper_Frame_2.STL, and Mechanical_Gripper_Frame_3.STL together to create the frame with the handle, providing a stable base for the gripper's components. Alternatively, print Mechanical_Gripper_Arm_Gear_1.STL as a single piece, but be aware that warping may occur, in which case you can print Mechanical_Gripper_Arm_Gear_1_Plus_Base.STL and Mechanical_Gripper_Arm_Gear_1_Plus_Top.STL separately and assemble them. Secure the components to the frame using M3 screws for added stability. Insert Mechanical_Gripper_Rack_Circle.STL through the back of the frame, ensuring a smooth and seamless operation of the gripper's mechanisms. Note: As of June 13, 2019, updated frame files with pre-drilled holes for screws are now available, allowing you to assemble the gripper without relying on glue for attachment.
