Still under development!!! The use of a photoelectric sensor is particularly appealing due to its contactless functionality, but if you opt for transparent filament, the sensor must be disabled. I decided to create a case for a microswitch so that it can be used with various types of filament as long as they have a diameter of 1.75 mm. UPDATE: v0.2 I use this plugin for OctoPI: https://plugins.octoprint.org/plugins/enclosure/ Follow the instructions to enable the filament-detection feature. The design has been modified to accommodate another microswitch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077ZS4V2V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You will need to make some minor adjustments to the liver. Refer to the pictures for guidance. #----------------------------------------------------------# Old Version #----------------------------------------------------------# This enclosure is designed for this switch: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K7ZTOAK/ref=crt_ewc_img_huc_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AQ1IBDB6G2RRD (Mine has not arrived yet. That's why it is still under development.)
