Mechanical Door Stopper (Hinge based)
prusaprinters

Explanation:

3 parts, the hinge, the arm and the shoe. In the open position, the door stopper is 80 mm high from the shoe to the bottom of the hinge.

M4 nuts slot into the hinge and the arm: to connect them together

M3 nuts slot into the shoe: to screw on rubber for strong engagement onto the floor

2 Long M4 screws ~ 25 - 55 mm (whatever you have) connect the shoe to the arm and can be used to adjust the height of the shoe. This is to add strength as well instead of having a long plastic arm.

Print:

6 walls, low infill, no support for strength. If printing with a 0.6 nozzle, 4 walls works fine.

Hinge and arm printed flat, shoe printed such that the 2 M4 through holes are vertical ( orthogonal to build plate)

It doesn't have to printed with high accuracy. I printed in high speed on a 0.8 nozzle with 2 walls, so the quality isn't great but it works a charm!
