I started this project because I was fed up with the desk calendar I have that involves flipping round blocks with numbers on every day. This mechanical calendar changes date automatically when you turn the large dial with the date on it, the day of the week changes and so does the month. To put it together, you need to glue the central cog to the stand and the other cogs click into place. On months that don't have 31 days, you'll have to take off the 'days of week' dial and change the day yourself.
