Mechanical Bunny Pendant
thingiverse
Stylized bunny pendant with rotating ears and eyes. It transforms from a sleepy expression with hidden ears to a happy expression with the ears up and alert. Very simple to assemble but requires a precise print. Feel free to scale it up if your printer struggles with finer detailed parts. I printed it on a Prusa Mk3S at 0.1mm resolution at 20% infill. The infill density doesn't really matter, but I wouldn't go too low than 20%. I also used the "Elephant Foot Compensation" setting on my slicer with a 0.2mm setting to help prevent the first layer of gears expanding too much and making clean-up a pain. The gears need to be very accurate at the default scale otherwise the parts won't fit properly, requiring you to go in and sand/file down each tooth. I strongly advise shrinking the first layer by at least 0.2mm to make your life easier. Once printed, only a few dabs of superglue are necessary to connect the parts. Be sure to print two copies of Ears, Eyes, and each gear. Consult the screenshot of the print platter for help.
